As a ghostwriter and publisher, I'm most often found behind my computer. However, when I'm not working, you'll find me in bookstores, traveling, or reading a great book.
I've worked as a publisher and ghostwriter since 2002, publishing more than 400 books for happy writers and ghostwriting 55 non-fiction books for smart people with valuable legacies.
A few fun facts
I started to read before I could speak in sentences. My love of adventure brought me to a dirt road high in the mountains of Ecuador, where I've lived and worked since 2012. Sometimes llamas visit. I speak bad Spanish but have kind neighbors who listen anyway. Family and faith are everything. My two rescue dogs sit under my desk and have been known to bark during client calls, but only when it's thundering. I've been a teacher, librarian, and corporate star, then left it all to write and create books.
I'm a classic nerd who loves learning, ideas, and creating. My superpower is listening for what makes each person magical. Give me a problem to solve or chaos to sort out and I'm a happy camper. Oddly, my many years in theatre gave me powerful tools for ghostwriting, especially when it comes to creating a unique writing voice for my clients.
I belive in old-school values which I learned growing up on a farm in Minnesota-- work hard, be kind, tell the truth, and help others. School was easy for me and I went up through the PhD level, until I realized I'd rather write books instead of a dissertation. I'm the proud mom of three sons.
Travel fuels me. I have no athletic ability whatsoever but compensate with a robust sense of humor. When I'm not reading or writing, I'm in the kitchen baking sough dough bread or something sweet.

Back in 2002, I was a struggling coach who could not get any paying clients. So, I wrote and published a self-help book which landed me on television, in national magazines, and got me clients at last. Soon, my friends from coaching school were asking me to help them write and publish books to build their businesses. I've worked on more than 400 books for smart professionals and taught more than 20,000 writing students. I started ghostwriting in 2008 and have written more than 30 books for physicians, professional speakers, therapists, business owners, sales trainers, internet marketers, consultants, and even a psychic. I've been around book publishing, internet marketing, and author training for so long that I'm proud to see many of my students taking their place as mentors in that arena.
I've published 3 best-selling books under my own name and know first-hand how challenging it can be to write your deepest truths for everyone to see. Those experiences made me compassionate and able to empower my clients when they get stuck. During the writing process, your deepest fears and doubts will surface, more than once. I'll be there to help you use them to create your best possible book.
