Success Leaves Tracks
Success Leaves Tracks
If you are like most successful people, you were so busy building your success that you didn’t have time to stop and consider how you made decisions and spotted opportunities others missed.
I’m a non-traditional ghostwriter with a passion for business and a long history in corporate training. I’ve done all the regular ghosting tasks: completed more than 30 projects for executives and entrepreneurs, trained more than 20,000 aspiring business authors from six of the seven continents, and published more than 350 successful business books. In my work and my life, I’ve been brave enough to do the unexpected, like walk away from an award-winning business career to move to Ecuador and devote my life to writing.
I’m also brave enough to talk about a problem in the ghostwriting industry. The vast majority of ghostwriters have tunnel vision. Their only focus is literary. Many are good writers, but they are not business strategists who have the ability to think beyond the book.
My superpower is helping you excavate your intellectual property, codify it, and then turn it into a strategically positioned book. But unlike other ghostwriters, I don’t stop there. I help my clients create an implementation pathway that follows their book, either in high level consulting/coaching, workshops, or speaking, so that their books create results and additional income streams.
This approach works. One of my clients signed a $100,000 annual consulting deal the week after we released his book. Others have landed international speaking tours, been invited to join boards, and risen to leadership positions in their industries.
If you’ve had success, and you are not done yet, let’s talk about what a book- and the things that come after it, can do for you.
When we work together in a ghostwriting project, you and I spend lots of time on the phone, talking about your ideas, your target readers, and your desired business outcomes of your book. Based on that information, I craft a manuscript that highlights your best ideas in a way that will inspire readers to take action, solve problems, and respond to your offers.
Depending on your target readers, I will also search for primary sources that can support your ideas, such as research studies, quotations, and information from other authors, to give your book rigor and respectability.
The ghosting process requires time; just like fine wine, your ideas need to ferment a bit. Most projects demand between 6-9 months of writing time. You maintain complete creative control of all aspects of your project throughout our engagement. I guarantee your complete satisfaction with your finished manuscript. The project is not finished until you LOVE your book.
When the project is completed, you'll have a professionally edited manuscript ready for publishing. Most of my clients publish with my team, making the process easy and seamless. A few wish to set up their own publishing houses. If you prefer this option, I will walk you through that process and train your staff in the required operations.
Because every project is unique, timelines and investments vary. These books are springboards to your future goals, whether you are seeking paid key-note speaking opportunities, a shift to private consulting, additional clients, or expert status. We'll work together to determine the results that would best build your business, and create the book in a way that will support the achievement of those goals. If you need a book with your name on it to be taken seriously and reach a leadership position in your industry, it only makes sense to craft a book that generate an ROI as well.
